Description
It goes by many names: chocolate pudding, hot chocolate pie, lava cake, and so on. Essentially, it's a chocolate cake with a gooey center. This cake is served hot with vanilla ice cream, making it quite unique and delicious. The batter yields about 6-7 cakes. By the way, the batter can easily be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Ingredients
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - ⅓ glasses
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it together with the butter in a double boiler.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar.
Step 3
Add the melted chocolate with butter to the mixture. Stir well and gradually incorporate the flour.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into the molds (tip: don't bake them all at once. Once cooled, they won't taste as good; it's better to serve them fresh). Place in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10 minutes.
