Ingredients
- Lentils - 5.3 oz
- Broccoli - 7.9 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Feta cheese - 2.6 oz
- Honey - 1.8 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Vinegar essence - 0 fl oz
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Cardamom - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the lentils for half an hour in a large amount of water with cardamom and bay leaf.
Step 2
For the dressing, cut the chili pepper in half, remove the seeds, finely chop, and mix with vinegar, honey, spices, olive oil, and finely chopped green onions.
Step 3
Divide the broccoli into small florets and add them to the lentils a few minutes before they are done. Cover the pot and simmer until the broccoli and lentils are soft.
Step 4
Drain the broccoli and lentils, season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a salad bowl.
Step 5
Dress the salad with the prepared spicy mixture. Sprinkle with crumbled cheese on top. Serve hot.
