Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 8.8 oz
- Roasted Peanuts - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Spinach - 5.3 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ocean salt - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the tomatoes, pour boiling water over them, cool with cold water, peel, and dice.
Step 2
Peel, wash, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Wash and roughly chop the spinach.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and roughly chop the onion and garlic, then sauté in heated butter until golden brown.
Step 5
Add the pepper, tomatoes, rinsed rice, and carrots to the skillet with the vegetables.
Step 6
Pour in 1 liter of hot water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
Step 7
Then reduce the heat, cover the skillet, and cook the vegetables with the rice for 20 minutes.
Step 8
After that, add the spinach and cook covered for another 3 minutes.
Step 9
Crush the peanuts in a mortar and mix them with the cooked porridge.
