Description
An alternative method of assembling the salad involves using culinary rings. In this case, the layers should be arranged in the correct order from the start: beginning with potatoes and ending with egg yolks.
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Potato - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Scallions - ¼ bunches
- Dill - ¼ bunches
- Mayonnaise - 6 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Poach the salmon in broth or salted water, then flake it with a fork. Boil the eggs, peel them, and separately chop the whites and yolks. Cook the vegetables and grate them coarsely. Set aside a few sprigs of dill for garnish and finely chop the remaining herbs. Mix the mayonnaise with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Line two glasses with plastic wrap. Layer the ingredients in the following order: egg yolks, salmon, mayonnaise, egg whites, herbs, mayonnaise, carrots, potatoes, mayonnaise. Repeat the layers. Refrigerate the glasses for a few hours or overnight.
Step 3
Before serving, invert the glasses onto the serving plates, remove the salad towers, and take off the film. Garnish with the reserved sprigs of dill.
