Description
Use Israeli spices and cucumbers. You can substitute hummus with shawarma sauce.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 3.5 oz
- Tomatoes - 0.7 oz
- Cucumbers - 0.7 oz
- Spanish onions - 0.4 oz
- Hummus - 1.1 oz
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into strips, marinate with sauce and spices, sauté until golden brown, and then finely chop the cooked meat.
Step 2
Lightly brush the thin lavash (pita/bread) with sauce, then layer on thinly sliced half-moon tomatoes, red onion in half-rings, pickles in thin rounds, and coarsely chopped grilled chicken fillet.
Step 3
Add shawarma sauce on top. Roll it up. Heat on all four sides for 3 minutes on the grill until a golden crust forms.
Step 4
Serve in lavash, pita, or tandoor bread.
