Description
A sauce recipe from a popular American restaurant.
Ingredients
- Garlic - 1 head
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Peach Juice - 8 fl oz
- Water - 6 fl oz
- Yakiniku sauce - 2 fl oz
- Brown Sugar - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Jack Daniel's Sauce - 0 fl oz
- Pineapple - 2.1 oz
- Cayenne Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut off the top and bottom of the garlic head. Remove the outer skin, ensuring the garlic stays intact. Drizzle with oil, cover with foil, and bake in the oven for 1 hour at 320°F. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 2
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the water, pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring, then reduce the heat to low. Add all the remaining ingredients and stir. Squeeze out 2 tablespoons of roasted garlic and add it to the sauce.
Step 3
Simmer for 35–45 minutes, or until the sauce reduces by half—it should be thick and syrupy!
