Ingredients
- Rice - 10.6 oz
- Ham - 7.1 oz
- Bacon - 1.8 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth - 20 fl oz
- Thyme - 1 sprig
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Sauté the ham and bacon until golden brown.
Step 2
Add chopped bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Place the sprig of thyme in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Remove the thyme from the skillet. Add the rice and sauté with the vegetables and meat for two minutes. Then pour in the broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Two minutes before it's done, add the sauce.
