Description
Prepare 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Turnips - 17.6 oz
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Candied fruits - 2.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 4 fl oz
- Apple Cider Vinegar - 2 fl oz
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Dijon Mustard - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the caramelized nuts in a bag and crush them against the table until they are broken into pieces, but not to a powder (unfortunately, I couldn't find candied Chinese pecans in Moscow, so, following advice from a friend, I caramelized them myself by simply frying them in sugar).
Step 2
Grate the carrots using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Chop the green onions.
Step 4
Mix the oil, vinegar, sugar, crushed garlic, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the dressing. Pour the dressing over the carrots, green onions, and nuts. Toss to combine.
