Juicy turkey with spicy herbs
Ingredients
- Ocean salt - 2.5 oz
- Water - 1 qt
- Turkey - 28.2 oz
- Champignons - 8.8 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Dry White Wine - 5 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Thyme - 6 sprigs
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve sea salt in water.
Step 2
Soak the turkey in the prepared solution for 1 hour.
Step 3
Slice the mushrooms.
Step 4
Zest the lemon.
Step 5
Combine the mushrooms with the zest and other mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 6
Rinse and pat dry the turkey.
Step 7
Place the turkey in a foil pouch.
Step 8
Add the mushrooms, white wine, thyme, and softened butter.
Step 9
Bake the turkey in the oven at 392°F for 25–30 minutes.
Step 10
Serve the cooked turkey with boiled rice, mashed potatoes, or a vegetable salad.
