Description
This sauce (or as it was referred to in Russia, 'Kabul Soy') is believed to have been added to the original recipe of the famous appetizer by chef John Smith. A second variant of this sauce, any hot sauce, or the addition of a cayenne pepper can also be used.
Ingredients
- Chicken Broth - 16 fl oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 12 fl oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Carrot - ½ piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 0.4 oz
- Ground clove - a pinch
- 9% Vinegar - 16 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the carrot, onion, and chili pepper.
Step 2
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook for about an hour.
Step 3
Strain through a sieve and return to the heat to simmer.
