  • Onion - 1 head
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Milk - 4 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the herring fillet into slices.

Step 2

Peel the raw potatoes and cut them into medium wedges.

Step 3

Layer the potatoes and fish in a skillet, sprinkle with chopped onion, flour, drizzle with oil, and bake.

Step 4

After about 40 minutes, when the potatoes are ready, pour the egg and milk mixture over the casserole and return it to the oven for 25 minutes.
