Ingredients
- Meat - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Pumpkin - 10.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Margarine - 3.5 oz
- Dry yeast - 1.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in the milk, add salt, sugar, softened margarine, egg, flour, and knead the dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 40 minutes.
Step 2
To the minced meat, add finely chopped onion, grated pumpkin, salt, and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Roll the dough into thin strands, cut into pieces weighing 20 g, roll each piece into a circle, place the filling in the center, and pinch the ends of the dough upwards to resemble an onion.
Step 4
Place the manti on greased steamers, place them over a pot of boiling water, and steam for 40 minutes. Brush the finished manti with butter.
