Keto Carbonara
Ingredients
- Shirataki Rice - 3.5 oz
- Bacon - 2.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- 33% Cream - 1 fl oz
- Quail Egg - 3 pieces
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Flaky sea salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the bacon into small slices.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan with a pinch of coarse salt.
Step 3
Add the bacon to the pan.
Step 4
Season it with black pepper.
Step 5
Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally until lightly browned.
Step 6
Rinse the shirataki noodles in cold water.
Step 7
Add the noodles to the pan and stir. Increase the heat.
Step 8
Stir again after one and a half minutes.
Step 9
Pour in the cream and reduce the heat slightly below medium.
Step 10
Add salt and a couple more pinches of black pepper.
Step 11
Add a couple of pinches of nutmeg. Stir.
Step 12
After 2 minutes, remove from heat and transfer to a plate.
Step 13
Add the eggs and serve. Enjoy your meal!
