Description

1. Instead of basmati rice, you can use regular white rice. 2. You can also use any other type of cabbage, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, and/or pumpkin.

Ingredients

  • Mung Beans - ½ cup
  • Basmati rice - ¼ cup
  • Cabbage - 7.1 oz
  • Carrot - 1 piece
  • Bell pepper - 1 piece
  • Asafoetida - ¼ teaspoon
  • Turmeric - ⅓ teaspoon
  • Adyghe cheese - 10.6 oz
  • Cumin (Zira) - 2 teaspoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - ⅓ teaspoon
  • Salt - 1½ teaspoons
  • Butter - 2.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil the rice and mung beans separately until cooked.

Step 2

Sauté the cabbage, carrot, and pepper together with the spices.

Step 3

Fry the Adyghe cheese.

Step 4

Let it sit for a while.
