Ingredients
- Black Beluga Lentils - ½ cup
- Rice - 1½ cups
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion and sauté it in olive oil until golden brown.
Step 2
Cook the rice, pasta, and lentils separately.
Step 3
Finely chop the garlic and sauté it until golden brown, then add the tomato paste, vinegar, salt, pepper, and cumin. Simmer for 7–10 minutes on low heat. Add the sautéed onion.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the rice, pasta, lentils, and add the sauce to taste.
