Kubite (Layered Pie with Chicken, Potatoes, and Onions)

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes - 5 pieces
  • Poultry - 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
  • Chicken Broth - 3 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil the chicken. Remove the bones and skin, and cut into cubes.

Step 2

Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel, and cut into cubes.

Step 3

Dice the onion.

Step 4

Mix everything together, add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Thaw the pastry, divide it into two parts (one larger and one smaller).

Step 6

Roll out the larger part and place the filling on it. Roll out the smaller part and cover the filling. Seal the edges of the pastry (neatly) and make a hole in the center of the pie.

Step 7

Pour the chicken broth through the hole and place in a preheated oven at 356°F until cooked.
