Description
The Kuburger is a Cuban burger, made from ingredients that can be found on almost every family table.
Ingredients
- Bread roll - 1 piece
- Mixed tomatoes of different colors - 2 pieces
- Pork Blood - 5.3 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- White Cabbage - 1.8 oz
- Corn Salad - 1 stalk
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- TABASCO® - ½ spoons
- Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the tomato sauce, cut one tomato, removing the stem end, and blend it until smooth. Turn the second tomato into tomato juice. Place both results in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add Tabasco sauce, sugar, vinegar, chili pepper, ground black pepper, and salt. Cook for another five minutes on low heat, then allow to cool.
Step 2
Grill or pan-sear a piece of pork (neck cut). Allow the cooked meat to rest.
Step 3
For the salad, grate the carrot, add finely chopped cabbage and homemade mayonnaise, adjust the flavor with salt, and mix well.
Step 4
Finely chop the pork and assemble the burger: cut the bun in half and spread tomato sauce on both halves. On one half, place the carrot and cabbage slaw, followed by the meat, and a lettuce leaf (or you can put the meat first, then the slaw — whichever you prefer) — then top it with the other half of the bun. Serve with fried potatoes.
