Ingredients
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Margarine - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - to taste
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Salad Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Chicken fillet - 28.2 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make the dough: add baking soda and salt to the sour cream.
Step 2
Mix the sour cream with softened margarine.
Step 3
Add flour (to taste) to the mixture until the dough is elastic like playdough and does not stick to your hands. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces.
Step 5
Dice the potatoes. Add them to the chicken pieces. Dice the onion and add it to the filling.
Step 6
Mix the filling, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Take small portions of dough and make pancakes the size of your palm. Place the filling inside. Fold them into a semi-closed basket shape, pinching the edges (leave an opening in the center).
Step 8
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper greased with vegetable oil. Place the prepared kurniki on the paper.
Step 9
Preheat the oven to 428°F and bake the kurniki for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
