Kuurdak with Lamb
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 17.6 oz
- Lamb - 2 lbs
- Scallions - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 7.1 oz
- Dill - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Fat Tail Fat - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat vegetable oil in a cauldron, add chopped meat and fat tail fat, and fry, stirring, for 10 minutes. Slice the onion into half-rings and add it to the meat, reduce the heat, and continue frying until the onion is golden brown. Add a little salt and cover with a lid.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes, cut them into large pieces, and add them to the meat, mixing everything well, and add more salt to taste. Cover with a lid and let simmer on low heat until cooked.
Step 3
Before serving, add freshly ground black pepper and chopped fresh herbs.
