Lamb Goulash
Ingredients
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Paprika - 1½ teaspoons
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - ½ teaspoon
- Lamb Neck Fillet - 2 lbs
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Salad Potatoes - 15.9 oz
- Chicken Broth - 8 fl oz
- Frozen green bean pods - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Fry the bacon in a large pot over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 2 minutes, then add the chopped tomatoes and cook for another minute.
Step 2
Add the garlic, cumin, paprika, bay leaf, diced lamb, and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes.
Step 3
Add the diced potatoes and cook uncovered for 15 minutes until tender. Add the peas and simmer for another 5 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and heat without boiling. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
