Ingredients
- Boneless Lamb Leg - 2 lbs
- Onion - 1 head
- Dill - 3.5 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- White Pepper (whole) - 0.4 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Sugar - 3 spoons
- Champagne Vinegar - 2 spoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the lamb into cubes about one centimeter on each side. Place it in a pot, add one liter of water, coarsely chopped onion and carrot, dill stems, salt, and white peppercorns. Simmer on low heat for about one and a half hours.
Step 2
After that, melt butter in a saucepan, add vinegar, sugar, and cook everything, stirring, for two minutes. Then, pour the contents of the saucepan into the pot with the lamb and simmer for another twenty minutes. When serving, sprinkle with chopped dill. Serve with potatoes and sour cream.
