Lamb with Lentils
Ingredients
- Lamb Neck Fillet - 3 lbs
- Lentils - 7.9 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Baking Tomatoes - 1 can
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dust 4 pieces of lamb with flour, place in a pot with finely chopped onion and garlic, pour in the broth, and cook for 1 hour.
Step 2
Add lentils and the can of chopped canned tomatoes.
Step 3
Cook for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Add finely chopped carrot and diced bell pepper and cook for another 30 minutes.
Step 5
Add a lot of chopped parsley and season to taste.
