Layered Carrot Salad
Ingredients
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Yellow Beets - 3 pieces
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - to taste
- Walnuts - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the beets and peel them. Prepare a shallow and wide dish.
Step 2
Grate one raw carrot on a fine grater and place it as the first layer. Grate the raisins (if desired) finely and place them on top of the carrot.
Step 3
Spread mayonnaise over the layer and add 2 cloves of garlic grated on a fine grater.
Step 4
Next, add a layer of cheese, grated on a fine grater. Any hard cheese will work. Again, spread mayonnaise over the layer.
Step 5
Grate one boiled beet on a fine grater and place it as the next layer. Chop the walnuts (if desired) finely and sprinkle them on top of the beet.
Step 6
Spread mayonnaise over the layer and add 2 cloves of garlic grated on a fine grater.
Step 7
Repeat all 3 layers 3 times.
