Layered Spring Vegetable Salad
Ingredients
- Napa Cabbage - 1 head
- Green Apples - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Turnips - 10.6 oz
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 7.1 oz
- White Cabbage - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Separate the leaves of the Napa cabbage and line the bottom of a salad bowl with them.
Step 2
Then chop a few leaves of Napa cabbage and white cabbage (finely), lightly salt and pepper, add mayonnaise, and layer it on top of the leaves.
Step 3
The next layer is grated carrot and mayonnaise; then the third layer is grated green apple (Semenovka) and mayonnaise; the fourth layer is cucumber, sliced thinly, and mayonnaise; the fifth layer is radish, sliced into thin rounds, and mayonnaise; the sixth layer is tomato, sliced thinly, with mayonnaise and finely chopped herbs; the seventh layer is bell pepper, diced finely, and mayonnaise.
Step 4
Top with grated egg. Decorate as desired. Add mayonnaise in small amounts to each layer.
