- Chicken fillet - 21.2 oz
- White Cabbage - 28.2 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 tablespoon
- Wild rice - 1 cup
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - to taste
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Toast the cumin seeds in a dry skillet until fragrant.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Soak the wild rice in hot water in a 1:1 ratio for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Finely chop the carrot and onion. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion, carrot, whole garlic cloves, and grated ginger until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Add the chicken and cook, stirring, for 5-7 minutes. Add the rice along with the water and chopped cabbage. Season with salt, pepper, and add the vinegar.

Cover with a lid and place in a preheated oven at 320°F for 1.5 hours.
