- Chicken Drumstick - 4 pieces
- Frozen green bean pods - 14.1 oz
- Canned Corn - 14.1 oz
- Lemon - 4 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Grapeseed Oil - 1 fl oz
- Thyme - 4 stalks
- Maple syrup - 1 fl oz
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Orange Bell Peppers - 4 pieces
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Marinate the chicken in a mixture of lemon juice, grape seed oil, thyme sprigs, soy sauce, maple syrup, and honey for 20 minutes, occasionally massaging the drumsticks to help the marinade penetrate the meat better.
Step 2
In a hot skillet with a small amount of water, sauté the green peas for 3 minutes. Then, mix them with the canned corn and set aside temporarily.
Step 3
In an oven preheated to 356°F, roast the red peppers for 15 minutes. Afterward, peel off the skin, remove the seeds, and place them in a blender. Add tomato juice and roughly chopped onion, and blend until smooth.
Step 4
Remove any excess marinade from the chicken drumsticks and place them on a baking tray. Put the tray in the oven preheated to 356°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Before serving, reheat the side dishes.
