- Lentils - 7.1 oz
- Semolina - 1.8 oz
- Onion - ½ pieces
- Wheat Flour - 3 spoons
- Olive Oil - 6 teaspoons
- Water - 3 spoons
- Dijon Mustard - 2 spoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Champagne Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add lentils to boiling water and cook for 15 minutes over low heat until they reach a puree-like consistency. Add salt at the end of cooking.
Step 2
Meanwhile, gradually sprinkle the semolina into the boiling water at a ratio of 50 g of semolina to 150 ml of water. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring, until the semolina thickens.
Step 3
Sauté the finely chopped onion. Combine the lentils, semolina, onion, flour, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
In a preheated skillet with oil, spoon small "patties" made from the prepared batter. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Serve with your favorite sauce.
