Ingredients
- Lentils - 8.8 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Leek - 1 stalk
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Ghee - 2 spoons
- Red Curry Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the lentils, cover them with 500 ml of salted cold water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer with the lid on for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the garlic cloves and slice them into rounds, cut the leek into pieces. Slice the chili pepper and remove the seeds.
Step 3
Slice the paprika into thin strips. In a hot skillet, heat the clarified butter. Stirring for about 2 minutes, sauté the onion, garlic, and pepper.
Step 4
Sprinkle with curry powder. Add the lentils along with the cooking liquid. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
