Description
* If you want a more diet-friendly salad, you can skip the cheese. The salad is still very tasty and filling! And it’s quick to prepare! ** You can peel the cucumbers if you wish. You can also add thinly sliced radishes and/or other vegetables you like.
Ingredients
- Canned tuna in its own juice - 1 can
- Sweet Pepper - 1 piece
- Quail Egg - 8 pieces
- Marinated cherries - 8 pieces
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Sweet Red Onion - 1 piece
- Arugula - 3.5 oz
- Feta cheese - 1.8 oz
- White Balsamic Cream - to taste
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Olives stuffed with lemon - ½ can
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the sweet pepper into half rings (I prefer yellow or orange for a brighter salad).
Step 2
Slice the onion into half rings, cut the cherry tomatoes in half, and slice the cucumbers into rounds. Boil the quail eggs (5 minutes after boiling). Peel and cut in half.
Step 3
Arrange the arugula (if desired) on individual plates as a base, then add all the previously cut ingredients, olives, and crumble the tuna on top (you can even use your hands if you bought it in chunks), and cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
Step 4
Add freshly ground pepper and, if desired, a little salt flakes (if you are not using feta)! Drizzle with olive oil, then garnish with balsamic cream.
