Linguine with Cheese Sauce and Truffle
Ingredients
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - 8.8 oz
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Canned Truffles - 0.7 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a pan, pour in the milk, and when it comes to a boil, add grated cheese (Parmesan or Pecorino, or any hard or semi-hard cheese), reduce the heat, and stir thoroughly until a homogeneous medium-thick mass is obtained. Then add grated truffle, mix, and add slightly undercooked linguine, cooking on low heat while stirring for about 1 minute.
Step 2
If it becomes too dry, you can add 1–2 ladles of the water in which the pasta was cooked.
Step 3
Serve the finished pasta on plates and sprinkle with raw grated truffle on top.
