Description
Italian bacon — pancetta — can be substituted with regular bacon. It’s better to use garlic-infused olive oil, or sauté 2 cloves of garlic in olive oil for a more aromatic dressing. You can also replace the pasta with any type you prefer.

- Bacon - 8.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 464°F. Pour the olive oil into a deep baking dish, add the diced bacon, mix thoroughly, and place in the oven for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Cook the linguine in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes or according to the package instructions. Drain, reserving half a cup of the cooking water.
Step 3
Remove the dish with bacon from the oven, add the linguine, mix well, and if necessary, add a little of the reserved water.
