Ingredients
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 16 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Marinated cherries - 8.8 oz
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - 14.1 oz
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Fresh basil leaves - 1 bunch
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 3 spoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook until al dente (the pasta is cooked but still firm, as it hasn't become overly soft).
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, pour oil into a skillet and heat it over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic to the skillet, stir quickly, and then add the peeled shrimp with tails on. Sauté over high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Lower the heat, add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pan, and cook for another minute. Then remove the pan from the heat.
Step 4
Drain the water from the pot in which you cooked the linguine, and add the pasta to the sautéed shrimp with cherry tomatoes, finely chopped basil, parsley, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Toss everything together and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the pasta to absorb the sauce.
