Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 17.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Boiled White Round Rice - 3.5 oz
- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Spanish onions - ½ head
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken liver and blend it in a blender.
Step 2
Pre-cook the rice.
Step 3
Crack 1 egg into the liver mixture.
Step 4
Add salt and pepper.
Step 5
Add the boiled rice and mix to avoid lumps.
Step 6
Add 3 heaping tablespoons of flour. Whisk until smooth and let the mixture sit for 5–10 minutes.
Step 7
Fry the liver pancakes in a pan greased with vegetable oil.
Step 8
Dice the pickles into very small cubes.
Step 9
Combine the pickles, finely chopped red onion, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil. Mix well.
Step 10
Serve the pancakes hot with the pickle salsa.
