Ingredients

  • Mackerel - 2 pieces
  • Orange Bell Peppers - 10.6 oz
  • Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
  • Onion - 3 pieces
  • Olive Oil - to taste
  • Lemon - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Gut the mackerel, removing all unnecessary parts — fins, backbone, large bones, and head.

Step 2

Next, wash the fish, rub it with salt and black pepper. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and drizzle it over the fish.

Step 3

Grate the cheese and layer it as the first layer. Chop the bell pepper, sauté it in olive oil along with the onion. Layer it on top of the cheese as the second layer.

Step 4

Wrap the dish in parchment paper and place it in a heat-resistant dish. Put it in a preheated oven.

Step 5

After 30 minutes, remove from the oven.

Step 6

Before serving, garnish with herbs and lemon.
