Ingredients
- Lamb - 21.2 oz
- Pumpkin - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 4 pieces
- Carrot - 8.8 oz
- Fat Tail Fat - 7.1 oz
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
- Clarified Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 21.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the meat filling. To do this, mix finely chopped lamb with finely chopped onion, ground red pepper, salt, and diced fat tail. Mix well.
Step 2
Peel and seed the pumpkin, then cut it into small pieces. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater and add it to the meat filling.
Step 3
Knead elastic dough from flour, water, and one teaspoon of salt. Roll it out thinly and cut into squares of 10x10 cm.
Step 4
Place the prepared filling in the center of each square, bring the corners together diagonally, and pinch the edges.
Step 5
Place the prepared manti on greased racks (kaskans), place them over a pot of boiling water or broth, and steam for 25–30 minutes. The finished manti can be served with spicy sauce, sour cream, or melted butter.
