Ingredients
- Miso Paste - 1½ tablespoons
- Soy Vanilla Milk - ¼ cup
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - 1½ teaspoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1½ tablespoons
- Cayenne Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Sake - ¼ cup
- Tamarind Paste - 2 tablespoons
- Wasabi - 2 tablespoons
- Salmon bellies - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the miso paste, soy milk, and sesame seeds until the paste is completely dissolved.
Step 2
In a plastic bag, combine the ginger, cayenne pepper, sake, tamarind paste, and wasabi. Add the pieces of fish and mix well. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 4
Place the fish on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven for 13–15 minutes until cooked through.
Step 5
Transfer the fish to warmed plates, drizzle with the prepared sauce, and serve.
