Description
If you are cooking in a convection oven or on the grill, remember that the cooking time will be reduced by 1.5 to 2 times. If you don't want to dirty the oven, place a baking tray a couple of levels lower to catch the drippings. Also, keep in mind that soy sauce is quite salty on its own. Be careful with the salt.
Ingredients
- Sea Bass - 4 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 7 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Rosemary - a pinch
- Grated Ginger Root - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Lemon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the fish, remove the innards and gills. Rinse well and dry with paper towels. Make diagonal cuts, 3 to 4 centimeters apart, on each side.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, honey, and grated ginger. Whisk to emulsify. Place the fish in the bowl and marinate each side for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Place the sea bass on a rack, sprinkle with rosemary on each side, and put it in a preheated oven. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 356°F, turning if necessary.
