Ingredients
- Potato - 21.2 oz
- Lime - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Cilantro - to taste
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
Step 3
Boil in salted water until cooked through.
Step 4
Zest the lime and squeeze out its juice.
Step 5
Remove the seeds from the chili and finely chop it. If you prefer it spicier, you can leave the seeds in.
Step 6
Chop the cilantro coarsely.
Step 7
Mash the potatoes with olive oil.
Step 8
Add the lime zest and juice to the puree (it's better to start with half of the juice and taste it), and season with salt to taste.
Step 9
Add chili, stir, and sprinkle with cilantro.
Step 10
This puree pairs well with seafood or white fish.
