Ingredients

  • Young Potatoes - 2 lbs
  • Green onions - 4 stalks
  • Butter - 1.1 oz
  • Pickles - 5.3 oz
  • Gruyère cheese - 7.1 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted boiling water until tender.

Step 2

Meanwhile, finely chop the green onions diagonally and dice the pickles.

Step 3

Drain the potatoes and mash them (with skins) until they reach a coarse mashed potato consistency. Add butter (if desired). Stir in the onions and pickles, then add the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
