- Sugar - 1½ spoons

- Garlic - 2 heads
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Curry - 1 tablespoon
- Nutmeg - ½ spoons
- Lean Beef - 2 lbs
- Ground coriander - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric - 1 tablespoon
- Apricot Jam - 2½ spoons
- Red Wine Vinegar - 5 fl oz
- Stale Bread - 3 pieces
- Grated Ginger Root - ½ spoons
- Onion - 2 heads
- Chutney - 1½ spoons
- Heavy cream - 4 fl oz
- Yogurt powder - 4 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the onion and garlic in oil until soft, then add curry, coriander, nutmeg, ginger, and turmeric. After three minutes, add vinegar, jam, chutney, and sugar, and cook for another five minutes.
Step 2
Soak the bread in boiling water, squeeze out the excess, mix it with the ground meat, add it to the onions, and cook until the meat loses its pink color. Then place the mixture in a baking dish and top it with bay leaves.
Step 3
Gently warm the yogurt with the cream, then whisk it together with the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the sauce into a baking dish. Bake at 374°F for about forty-five minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
Serve with rice cooked with cinnamon and turmeric, bananas, and tomatoes.
