Description

This dish is great because it is very easy to prepare and contains approximately equal amounts of protein and carbohydrates. They can be served without a side dish, accompanied by the same sauce used for braising the 'Hedgehogs.'
Ingredients
- Pork Mince - 20 oz
- Long-Grain Rice - 5 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Water - 10 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop one onion.
Step 2
Mix it with the minced meat.
Step 3
Add the rice, eggs, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well.
Step 4
Chop the second onion and grate the carrot using a large grater.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent.

Add the carrot and sauté, stirring, for another couple of minutes.
Step 7
Add tomato paste to the vegetables.
Step 8
Pour in a cup of water, add a pinch of salt, and stir.

Shape the minced meat into evenly sized balls, place them in the skillet, and cover with a lid.

Cook for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.
