Ingredients
- Rice - 1 cup
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice well until the water runs clear, then boil until half-cooked. Drain the boiled rice in a colander and rinse well under cold running water (you can skip rinsing the rice), wait until it cools and drains.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine all the prepared ingredients — rice with ground beef, season with salt and pepper, add the egg, and finely chopped onion. Mix everything well to avoid lumps.
Step 3
Form the mixture into balls of your desired size and place them in a greased baking dish.
Step 4
For the sauce, mix the sour cream with the tomato paste in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, optionally add dried basil, add 150 milliliters of boiled water, mix well, and evenly pour the sauce over the meatballs.
Step 5
Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 180–392°F and bake for 40 minutes.
