Ingredients
- Meat - 2 lbs
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Soy Sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Choose a flat (rectangular), dense piece of meat (like for a roast). Make cross cuts in the meat, not cutting all the way through.
Step 2
Mix the marinade ingredients and coat the meat on all sides and in the cuts, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Let the meat marinate for 10–12 hours.
Step 3
Slice the cheese and tomatoes, and chop the garlic. Place cheese, tomato, and garlic in each cut. Optionally, add slices of mushrooms.
Step 4
Wrap the meat in foil, place it on a baking sheet, and put it in a preheated oven at 180–392°F and bake until done for 50–60 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer the cooked meat to a serving dish and garnish with herbs.
