Description
Meat Under Cheese and Mayonnaise Blanket
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Pork Neck - 2 lbs
- Cheese Spread - 8.8 oz
- Mayonnaise - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
- Unrefined Sunflower Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the pork neck into large thick slices. Tenderize well, but not to a mushy state. Ideally, use the handle of a knife or a regular meat mallet (put a plastic bag over the mallet), so the meat retains its juiciness.
Step 2
Pour flour onto a board, add salt, black pepper, and red pepper (sweet), and mix everything with the flour. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Dredge the meat in the flour mixture and fry on both sides. It’s not necessary to fry the meat until fully cooked.
Step 3
Once all the meat is fried, turn on the oven. Place the meat in a baking dish. I have a wide glass dish. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Mix mayonnaise with most of the cheese. Leave a little cheese for sprinkling on top. Slice the tomatoes into rounds.
Step 4
Start layering: place the tomatoes on the meat; their juice will further soften the meat and add a tangy flavor. Top with the cheese and mayonnaise mixture, and sprinkle with cheese for a nice crust. Place the dish in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of approximately 356°F.
