Description

You can, of course, use any blue cheese instead of blue cheese. Serve with mashed potatoes and cranberry or lingonberry sauce (http://eda.ru/sauce/recipe46844) (serving size of 2 meatballs, as they are quite filling).

Ingredients

  • Lean Beef - 28.2 oz
  • Blue Cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Feta cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Dried Rosemary - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Paprika - to taste
  • Sweet Red Onion - ½ piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Combine thawed or fresh ground beef with ground black pepper, rosemary, paprika, and the chopped half of the onion.

Step 2

Cut or break both cheeses into small pieces, do not mix. You can use just one type of cheese, preferably salty. As you can see, I did not add salt to the meat due to the addition of salty cheese.

Step 3

Form a small meatball by hand, placing either type of cheese in the center. Shape the ball so that the cheese is not visible. Use all the ground meat and cheese in the same manner.

Step 4

Place all the meatballs in a baking dish, which can be greased with olive oil, and put in a preheated oven at 446°F (450 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes, preferably under the grill, to create a golden crust on top. However, if there is no grill, it will not prevent the meatballs from being juicy and tasty.
