Meatballs with Creamy Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire Sauce - to taste
- Malt Vinegar - 4 tablespoons
- Turnips - 12 pieces
- White bread - 1 slice
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Lean Beef - 8.8 oz
- Pork Mince - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Parsley - 1.4 oz
- Cream - 7.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the bread in a food processor and grind well. Transfer to a bowl. Add the minced meat, spices, parsley, onion, and egg. Mix by hand until homogeneous. Shape into 16 balls.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the balls in batches for 10–15 minutes, turning constantly. Transfer to a plate and do not let cool.
Step 3
Pour the cream into a saucepan, add the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, season, and cook over low heat for a few minutes. Serve with salad and young potatoes, drizzling the sauce over the meatballs.
Step 4
For the cucumber salad, mix the sugar and vinegar until the sugar dissolves. Add the cucumber and radishes and mix.
