Ingredients
- Rice - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 piece
- Pork Mince - 2 lbs
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 lbs
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil a small amount (1 cup) of rice until fluffy, without overcooking it, while simultaneously blending one large peeled onion in a blender.
Step 2
Once these ingredients are ready, add them to one kilogram of ground pork, along with one chicken egg, salt, and spices to taste, mixing well and starting to shape them into balls.
Step 3
Fry the meatballs to give them a firmer texture and more reliable structure. If you start cooking them with gravy without pre-frying, the meatballs may fall apart and turn into a regular meat sauce.
Step 4
You can place the meatballs in a pot or saucepan, then pour over the gravy, which should be prepared in advance in a frying pan. If there isn't enough gravy, you can make more or simply dilute it with warm boiled water (excess moisture will evaporate anyway). After that, just keep the pot with the meatballs on low heat for five to seven minutes, and the meatballs will be fully cooked. Naturally, if you only pre-fried them without baking and without full cooking, this time should be increased at least threefold. Naturally, the taste will change slightly, and the cooking method will ultimately depend on the taste preferences of those you are feeding.
