Ingredients
- Ground meat - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- White bread - 2 pieces
- Milk - ½ cup
- Green peppercorns - 5 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Water - 1 cup
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 5 tablespoons
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak 2 pieces of white bread in milk and squeeze out the excess. Mix the ground meat, finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, and the soaked bread crumbs. Roll small balls from the mixture and coat them in flour.
Step 2
Fry the meatballs over medium heat. Place them in a pot.
Step 3
Add 0.5 cups of tomato paste or ketchup, 2 bay leaves, 5-6 peppercorns, 2-3 cloves of garlic crushed with salt, and 1 cup of water to the pot.
Step 4
Cover with a lid, bring to a boil, and then simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
