Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 17.6 oz
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 3 pieces
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Canned Corn - 12.3 oz
- White Beans - 12.3 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Dried onion powder - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Dried Turkey - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into half rings and place it in a heated skillet greased with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Sauté on low heat for a bit.
Step 3
Dice the carrots and add them to the onion.
Step 4
Remove seeds from the bell peppers, cut them into quarter rings, and add to the sautéing vegetables.
Step 5
Cut the tomatoes into quarter rings and add to the sautéing vegetables.
Step 6
Add the corn to the vegetables (if using canned corn, drain the liquid beforehand).
Step 7
Add the red beans to the vegetables (if using canned beans, drain the liquid beforehand).
Step 8
At this stage, season the dish with salt and add spices (you can use about 0.5 teaspoon each of cinnamon, dried garlic, dried paprika, dried ground tomato, and about 1/3 teaspoon of chili powder).
Step 9
Cut the chicken breast into medium-sized pieces and add to the vegetables.
Step 10
Mix thoroughly so that the chicken is submerged in the vegetable sauce.
Step 11
After that, simmer the dish for about 10 minutes.
