Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
- Dijon Mustard - 4 spoons
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Sage - ½ spoons
- Wild rice - 7.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Basil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Steam the rice in a steamer. This method ensures that the rice won't stick to the bottom of the pot.
Step 2
Mix sour cream and mustard with chopped sage and garlic pressed through a garlic press. Add salt to taste.
Step 3
Slice the chicken fillet in half lengthwise. One half of the fillet counts as one serving.
Step 4
Dip the fillet in mustard cream and transfer it to a microwave-safe plate. Cover and cook initially at 800/900 watts for about 6 minutes.
Step 5
Turn the fillet over, drizzle with the remaining cream, and return it to the microwave. Cook at 450 watts for 14 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the cooked chicken breast with wild rice and garnish with basil.
